Mandurah Senior College (MSC) is part of the Peel Education and TAFE (PET) Campus sharing the Peel Campuses of Challenger TAFE and Murdoch University. MSC is the provider of government educational services for students completing post-compulsory secondary studies in Mandurah . Such and arrangement is unique in Western Australia and will present many exciting opportunities for the post-compulsory students. Typically, enrolments at MSC are from the contributory three government middle schools. (Coodanup Community College, Halls Head Community College and Mandurah High School) and approximately 30% from other schools.
This collaborative arrangement between the three sectors was developed in response to community demands for enhanced opportunities in education and training for post-compulsory students in the area.

The shared PET Campus ensures that students at MSC have a range of facilities and opportunities that would not be available to them in a traditional secondary school.
The College is delivering an extensive range of educational programs to over 900 post-compulsory students. It addresses the needs of the full range of students and their post secondary aspirations including a comprehensive list of TEE, Courses of Study, WSA subjects, Vocational Education and Training courses, and bridging courses to assist in the development of students and enhance graduation prospects. Enterprise education is growing as a strategy to motivate students and improve retention. The flexibility in the delivery of educational programs is increased by offering them over an extended day (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday 8:25am -5:00pm; Thursday & Friday 8:25am -3:00pm)
MSC is sensitive to the needs of tertiary institutions, commerce and industry and to provide assistance for further study or training for careers in these sectors. This is being achieved through productive partnerships with both community and tertiary organizations.
MSC shares some facilities with Challenger TAFE including the Library (managed by MSC), the Workshops(managed by Challenger TAFE) and the Cafeteria. Murdoch University is expected to extend operations on the PET Campus shortly.
The design of MSC has recognised the need for flexibility in the use of the buildings as the needs of students and the community change. It also takes into account the changes in information and Communications Technology over recent years and the expectation that such changes will continue into the future. For these reasons MSC will be well placed to remain at the leading edge of education innovation in the future.
